Yetii is a wildly but fluently inventive group who play original compositions as well as reworkings of some of their favourite Beatles’ tunes!

They’ve been playing together for five years, often in
collaboration with other musicians. This time their guest is Jake McMurchie who is well known on the South Coast jazz scene and for his BBC Jazz Awards Album of the Year, “Get the Blessing”.

Alex Veitch writes the music for Yetii and has a bi-monthly residency at Ronnie Scott’s. Ashley Long is a composer and a lecturer at Cardiff University. Alex Goodyear - recently described as a fast-rising star on the UK jazz scene - leads his own band and, as with all tonight’s musicians, also plays with a wide selection of well-known individuals and their bands.
