This group pays homage to Thelonious Monk and uses his compositions to express themselves as well as to pay their respects. Their first album is due later this year. Billy Pod’s debut album, released in 2019, gave him a prominent position amongst the new generation of drummers internationally and demonstrated his skills as a composer. Dave O’Higgins has twenty-four albums to his name and is known for his effortless flow of ideas and their melodic development. He has delighted our audiences on many occasions in the past. Luke Fowler, who was originally inspired by the playing of Ray Brown, provides a strong sound and infectious beat.
