Art Themen has been a brilliant saxophonist and beloved character of the British jazz scene for over 50 years. Simon Allen, who is Head of Jazz at the Purcell School for Young Musicians, has played with an astonishing array of top performers from both the jazz and pop worlds. Dave Newton, pianist, composer and arranger for over 40 years, has the distinction of winning Best Pianist in the annual British Jazz Awards 16 times. Andrew Cleyndert, nominated in the same Awards every year since they began, is another superbly versatile musician. So, every one a Champion – don’t miss this night!
