Singer and songwriter Kate Daniels returned in 2013 to the British jazz scene with her second album 'Atmospherics' featuring many of her own arrangements of standards in a style she calls Jazz Noir.

The album reflects her concern to create a mood and atmosphere for the stories of the songs and she brings this into her live performances. She has earned a reputation for the intimate and engaging relationship she creates with her audiences.

Originally a classically trained singer and an actor, Kate was founder of an all-woman Jump Jive band, The Blue Stockings and member of jazz acapella ensemble, Pocket Cabaret.

She performs regularly and has toured England with tonight’s band and together they have just produced a second album 'Songs for Night People' which is due for release in the autumn 2017.

Line-up: Kate Daniels – vocals, John Horler - piano, Alec Dankworth – bass, Winston Clifford - drums, Nils Solberg - guitar.

All meetings start at 7.45pm - doors open at 6.30pm
