When Katie Brown first played CJC with Karen Sharp in July 2009 it was during a spell as a freelance in and around London. She had been building on her musical studies in Manchester and Tennessee, plus 14 years of teaching at St. Paul's School. Tonight she returns with her own quartet, with whom she has recorded her first album, 'Metamorphosis'.
Alongside Katie playing excellent and varied mainstream jazz will be: husband Steve, a world class drummer; creative and driving pianist Leon Greening; and an outstanding yound bassist Tim Thornton, who has already accompanied an astonishing number of top musicians and recorded an album for release in early 2013.
Guest admission £10.00
