The Goff Dubber Dixieland Band was formed in the mid-1980s by Goff and Ken Reece. The band's success can be attributed to musicians who have long been well-known for their talent - as well as their considerable experience, often gained in other top British and international bands. In recent years, after a short break and change of name, the band has been working together more and more regularly. The line-up will be as follows and we have shown where musicians have performed in CJC- managed gigs:

Goff Dubber - clarinet and saxophone - Gresty/White Ragtimers, King Jazz

Ken Reece - trumpet and cornet

Mike Hogh – trombone

Paul Sealey - guitar and banjo

Andy Lawrence - bass - Brian White's Magna Jazz Band, JJ Vinten Band

Colin Miller - drums - Gresty/White Ragtimers, King Jazz, JJ Vinten Band

Sorry about having to replace Max Collie's Rythym Aces although we know that, unexpected derailments apart, Dixieland Express won’t let us down. We’ve rebooked Max and the boys to play for us next season on Friday 2 November 2012.

Guest admission: £9.

All meetings start at 7.45pm - doors open at 6.30pm
