The popular clarinettist and tenor saxophonist, Julian Marc Stringle brought his talented band of friends to perform a stunning range of material from Bernies’s Tune to Brookmeyer to Gershwin and beyond. Labelling his fellow musicians as leaders in their class it was easy to see why the band worked so well together.

It was not just the powerful solos from trumpeter and flugelhorn player Enrico Tomasso, or the exciting accompaniment from pianist JJ Vinton and the creative bass playing from Steve Thompson but also the charming and entertaining vocals from Enrico, Steve and Julian Marc himself. A large crowd, including loyal band supporters, enjoyed a great night of jazz.

Line-up: Julian Marc Stringle – clarinet and tenor saxophone and vocals, Enrico Tomasso – trumpet and flugelhorn and vocals, Jonathan Vinton – piano, Steve Thompson – bass and vocals, Bobby Worth – drums.
